TIRF Technologies offers turnkey TIRFM systems built on Nikon, Olympus, Zeiss, or Leica inverted microscope platforms. The systems are supplied with add-on lightguide-based TIRFM (lg-TIRFM) equipped with open perfusion or closed flow chambers. In conjunction with low light electron-multiplying (EM) CCD cameras lg-TIRFM is sensitive down to single molecules. lg-TIRFM is well suited for multicolor TIRFM experiments, FRET, FRAP, and fluorescence polarization measurements. The turnkey TIRFM is modular, upgradeable system, respective configurations of which are suited to broad range of budgets. Integrated software package support SmartFlow fluidics, 7-LED/laser illuminator, filter wheels, EM CCD cameras Andor, and optional electric field control, which enables electrochemical, electrophoretic, and dielectrophoretic effects in the TIRFM flow systems. The electric field control allows for manipulating with living cells and biomolecules directly at the TIRF surface.
